Aimee Coello is a general artist and illustrator. She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and currently resides there. Even as a child, she was always interested in and inquisitive about art. In her early elementary school years, Aimee introduced herself tothe world of art and taught herself the concept of art expression.Aimee applied to the art program at the Las Vegas Academywhere she studied art up until 2019 which is when she graduated. . During the program, Aimee was exposed to a new world of painting. She observed how to create distinctive paintings in various artwork styles, and discovered a way to use every painting medium to her own advantage. This made it easier for her to express her thoughts and to give better explanations for her methods while creating her paintings. Most of her mysterious works were inspired and stimulated by herfeelings of strong sentimentality and nostalgia. Her artwork contains strong significance and deep meaning to her and has impacted her life profoundly. Whether it was drawing, painting, collaging, or photography, she learned how to convey emotion, and quickly picked up the pace in the arts.
Aimee applied to be an artist vendor at First Friday Festivals in 2017. After being accepted, she successfully sold many of her cartoon works and personal paintings during the festival. She collaborated with various smaller artists during the Festivals, and made good connections with customers and people. She started making commissions from custom orders from various clients from digital art and paintings to custom designs on clothing, murals, and other items.
Oil painting is her medium of choice for her creative expression. However, she also enjoys working in many othermediums. In fact, she has created artwork in mediums such as acrylic paints, gouache, watercolors, inks, and so forth. Each piece is unique in its own form, meaning there is no definite consistency.
Aimee is currently attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) as of 2020. Her goal is to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, and plans to attend Savannah College of the Arts in 2025.
